Business
Review
The company has undertaken a review of its business with a view
of repositioning it for sustainable growth and has procured
the machine: Bielomatik P1590/265 exercise book production machine
capable of running on 500 meters per minute with an average
of 240,000 books in eight (8) hours. The first phase of the
review has transformed the company into a major player in the
Prints sector with the ability to effectively service commercial
prints. The Heidelberg DI (Direct Imaging) Quick Master 46 DI
and Speed Master 74DI Machines have been acquired and installed
since the month of October, 2006 for this purpose.
Envelope
Production
The company has acquired additional envelope machines, 381 RB
W&D machine. These machines are equipped to print and insert
windows (multiple windows possible) online thus ensuring consistency
of production at the rate of 800 envelopes per minute. In addition
the company has acquired 149L to replace its carlaw and die
cutting machine. Our current daily envelope production capacity
is not less than two million (2,000,000) envelopes.
Printing
The printing section has been upgraded with new printing and
finishing equipment. The upgrade runs from Pre-press to Post-Press
which currently delivers high quality printed materials.
IT
The business is in the advanced stages of a restructure of the
IT infrastructure with up-to-date hardware platform as well
as work group applications; internetworking various physical
branches of the company for an efficient and improved information
flow process which is designed to enhance the overall productive
output of the company.

-4ward
Onward launched an in-house newsletter: ‘Go-4ward’. With a quarterly
publication frequency, the newsletter is designed to enlighten
staff and management on the trends of the industry as well as
the publication of internal news articles.
